On October 15, 2018 the RA Minister of Education and Science, Arayik Harutyunyan, left for Paris on an official visit to attend the ceremony of opening a TUMO Center for Creative Technologies branch. In Paris, the Minister will meet with the EU Commissioner for Research, Science and Innovation, Carlos Moedas: they plan to discuss the implementation of the programs with the Republic of Armenia within the framework of the participation in the “Horizon-2020” program.
On October 17, 2018, with the invitation of the Sachsen-Anhalt State Minister of Education, Marco Tullner, the delegation, headed by the RA Minister of Education and Science, will be in the Federal Republic of Germany and will attend the ceremony dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Mesrop Armenian Studies Center of the Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg. In the scope of the visit, meetings with the Secretary of State of the Federal Minister of Education and Research of Germany, the President of the Bundestag Committee on Education and Science and the Rector of the Humboldt University of Berlin are scheduled. The meeting with the Rector is highlighted in the context of the conference dedicated to the 150th anniversary of Komitas, which will be co-organized in 2019 by the Berlin State Library, the Humboldt University of Berlin and the Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg. Meetings with the Sachsen-Anhalt State Minister of Economy, Science and Digitalisation, Professor Armin Willingmann, and the State Minister of Education, Marco Tullner, are also planned.
