The August consultations, organized by the National Institute of Education, will kick off August 25. The consultations are dedicated to the new academic year.
The groups, full of specialists of
various subjects, will visit the provinces of Armenia and present the novelties,
connected with their professional subjects. Norayr Ghukasyan, director of the
National Institute of Education, told Armenpress that a number of new approaches
to books, as well as a new methodology of assessment will be presented to the
teachers.
According to Norayr Ghukasyan, over 1000 teachers will take
part in the consultations, held in province centers. At least one teacher of a
subject or the heads of methodological unions from each school are involved.
‘The consultations are mainly aimed at supporting the teacher for that
he/she walks together with novelties,’ Norayr Ghukasyan said. He also informed
that the consultations are annual and necessary events.
The
consultations will be launched in Tavush and Armavir provinces and will be
wrapped up August 30 in Yerevan.
