The end of the first exhibition of Arshile Gorky will be held August 1 in Gafesjian Art Center, Yerevan, on the occasion of which the center has organized a two-weak free entrance to the exhibition hall. On July 31 and August 1 a day of open days will be announced, and the participants will be comprehensively presented Gorky’s works. Program Coordinator of the center Astghik Marabyan told Armenpress that Arshile Gorky’s exhibition has been open since the opening day of the Art Center – from November 9, 2009.
“The exhibition will be summed up by these events,” A. Marabyan said stressing the great importance of the exhibition. According to the director of the department, during the events the participants and visitors will be afforded an opportunity to hear about the art of Gorky.
